About The Position


Chain Reaction is seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer / Production Manager to join our team based in Yokneam. This role will be responsible for managing and integrating all aspects of product development into successful production, including hardware, software, logistics, and quality. The NPI Engineer will lead the planning and execution of product introduction, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and overcoming challenges. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work in a fast-paced environment, define processes, and play a pivotal role in meeting the company’s engineering and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities



  • Plan and establish production processes for new projects, ensuring a seamless transition from development to manufacturing.
  • Develop work plans that balance business needs with project risks and resource availability.
  • Drive project execution, track project progress, resolve blocking issues and report status to higher-ups
  • Own Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities, including ECO (Engineering Change Orders), MCO (Manufacturing Change Orders), and related processes.
  • Manage Contract Manufacturers (CMs), including planning, execution, and quality oversight.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team on material management to ensure material availability.
  • Resolve real-time engineering issues on the production line with effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Manage engineering changes efficiently and effectively.
  • Design and implement robust process flows to facilitate the transfer of products to mass production (MP).
  • Generate detailed reports such as Gantt charts, metrics, and KPIs to communicate project status at critical stages.

Requirements



  • B.Sc. in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects in the electro-mechanical field, managing Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and vendors, and handling project management and production management.
  • Experience with production processes such as SMT, wave soldering, press-fit, electro-mechanical integration
  • Strong understanding of program/project management practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on execution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage tasks in a matrix environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
